本校姊妹校-莫斯科市立大學來信,欲探索與本校師長進行協同研究的可能性。

請各位師長參閱以下莫斯科市立大學國際關係部門 Daria Milyaeva 主任訊息及附件資料。

Dear colleagues,

at this difficult times Moscow City University on behalf of its students and faculty expresses gratitude for fruitful cooperation with your university during the recent years. Although under this situation most of our cooperation projects and programs are postponed inevitably, I hope that all of us can deal with the circumstances and recover soon enough. Therefore I suggest looking ahead and working towards more integration between our institutions.

There has been announced a government Contest for international research funding provided by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research and Ministry of Science and Technology of Taiwan. The priority areas for project proposals include fundamental work in the fields of humanities, sciences, as well as interdisciplinary research. The funding ranges from 30,000 USD to 60,000 USD per year. The project proposals are accepted from international teams until April 15, 2020.

MCU is quite eager to apply for this funding because we have a number of  topical research proposals for possible cooperation with your scientific staff. Brief descriptions of two project proposals are attached to this letter, as well as the Joint Research Project Application form in English for your reference.

We currently work on two more project proposals, which may also be of interest to you: The influence of e-learning modalities on the mental development of students Supporting the multicultural educational environments in the context of internationalization of higher education In case one of the research proposals corresponds to the activities conducted by your laboratories or departments, and you would like to apply for the joint research funding, please contact me by April 3rd.

We will establish a joint international workgroup in order to prepare the full project proposal and complete the application documents. If you have your own project proposal that you want to put forward and apply for funding, I can connect you with the MCU researchers who deal with the similar issues at our side.

More information on the Contest is available at the MOST website or directly from the Program Director Dr. Natalie KIN, Department of International Cooperation & Science Education Ministry of Science and Technology. Contacts: TEL: +886-2-27377047 Email: jsjen@most.gov.tw

I hope this initiative will strengthen scientific cooperation between our institutions in the future.

I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Kind regards,

Daria
